Filming- Day 4
Record Store (Lip-synch): We went back to the first location the artist explores to film some more lip synch scenes as we didn't have enough the first time. We also filmed more cutaways of her looking through records or looking into the camera.
Memory Shots: After talking about making the storyline more prominent in the music video, we decided to make the plot clearer by filming 'memory' shots of her and her boyfriend. We edited so that it's in black & white and slow motion. We will decide later after doing more audience research to see if we should include these into the music video.
Ending (narrative): The ending will be the only scene where the audience sees her boyfriend. We thought that this may be a little confusing, hence the memory shots (above) to introduce him first. They have a moment where they look at each other, the artist looks away and walks away sadly while the background slowly becomes clear.
